October Sewing Round Up

Updated: Dec 13, 2022

This month I have been toiling a few new shapes; some styles I am still perfecting and some are ready to go! Here are my top 5 makes from October:

1. Blair Bodysuit

This body shape was perfect for some witchy tulle. I really like the idea of being able to wear a camisole tucked into jeans or a skirt without it riding up, and this was the inspiration for the bodysuit. I graded the pattern up to a tall for myself as I am 5'10" and I also graded down for my petite babes.

2. Stretch Brazilian and Thong Set

Sometimes you just need some classic comfy knickers and this three pack of jersey pants is perfect. The leopard jersey is available in a range of colours, but I picked three autumnal colours to make a complementary three pack. I used our stretch Brazilian and skimpy thong patterns.

3. Cleo Body

The Cleo bodysuit pattern is my favourite body shape, it's comfortable, chic and versatile. I had never made it in black before and I decided it was about time! I used an eco viscose jersey and included poppers at the gusset.

4. Lace Tangas

I have been loving lace at the minute and I have been using up some of my lace leftovers. I adapted out strappy tanga patterns to make some stretch and non-stretch lace tanga knickers. Lace tangas are simple, but very effective and I love how these have turned out.

5. Lace Bras

After making some sexy lace knickers, I decided I needed some sexy lace bras to match! I made two versions of this lace triangle bra; one with out a lace underband and one without. They are very comfortable to wear and also look great! I am currently finalising a non-stretch version of this pattern so watch this space!

Bonus Style 6. Lace Cami

This month I had a 1920's themed party to attend. I decided my lace slip skirt would be perfect for a lingerie inspired look, I just needed a top to match! I altered our camisole shapes to add lace panels and luckily I had just enough matching lace scraps to complete the look.

What have you been making this month? Have you got any sewing projects planned for November?
